TLDR: Review of the Bulova Gemini Watch (Model: 63C113)

The 42mm Bulova Men’s ‘Gemini’ Swiss Automatic Stainless Steel Casual Watch has advanced chronograph functions with 12 hours and 60-second subdials. This advanced timepiece offers 1/1,000-second precision.

Design: stainless steel bracelet and case

In a stainless steel bracelet and case, this watch has a curved crystal, silver and black dial, and a multiple-layer of black carbon fiber.

The dial itself is very easy to read. The markers and hands on the dial likewise do their best to match within function and appearance by sporting the same silver tone. We especially adore the spearhead hands that blend well with the arrow markers.

To add to the beautiful silver-tone hour markers, there’s also a textured black background that makes the markers and sub-dials pop out. In short, it does not just make the watch easy to read, it also makes it stand out. The charming high-end face of this watch likewise includes a date display at the 3 o’clock position. Moreover, there’s that onion crown that is nicely balanced with two buttons beside it.

Swiss automatic movement

At the heart of this 63C113 Bulova watch is the Swiss automatic movement. This means that it doesn’t need a battery. Although it may not be as accurate as quartz movement by losing a couple of seconds, you won’t need to change its battery every now and then.

You can simply manually rewind the watch whenever necessary as it gets wound by the movement on your wrist. Or if you regularly use this watch, you won’t even have to worry about setting the time correctly.

Bulova Gemini Review: What Do People Say About it?

One Amazon buyer expressed his happiness in purchasing the Accutron Gemini watch.  He said, “This watch is fantastic! I’ve only had it a few days so if anything happens to change my rating I’ll update. I was surprised to see a watch like this (automatic /mechanical chronograph) being sold at such an affordable price, and with a Swiss movement no less, I had to pick one up! Bulova regularly punches above their weight and this piece is a great example of that fact. The build quality is excellent.”

Another also gave it a 5-star rating and wrote, “[I] love the automatic movement. [It] doesn’t require much winding to get started, once it’s going it runs without input. Keeps time very accurately so far.”

Stuart Lomas bought the Bulova Accutron Gemini Valjoux 7750, which has almost the same design and function as the 63C113 with few notable differences, like the leather band. He said in a YouTube video, “Look at this. How beautiful is that,” upon opening the watch packaging. “Interestingly, this particular model hasn’t got the exhibition back. But never mind… this is a beautiful piece.”

One Reddit user shared his experience buying a Bulova Accu (first fully electronic watch) and wrote, “After what seemed like an hour of just standing there [at the local store] looking at it, I decided to pull the trigger and bought it. Basically, it’s been over 24 hours, and I think I’m getting a little buyer’s remorse? I couldn’t really find much online about the Accuswiss line, and I’m not up on the ins and outs of the watch world. Just to be clear, I really like the way the watch looks, I like the simplicity of the design”

To which, one replied, “If you like the watch, it was a good buy though most on here would advocate buying used for the best deal.” He even calls Bulova a “good brand.”

The Verdict: Should I Buy It?

To summarize, the Bulova Gemini Watch is definitely a good timepiece you can trust. In terms of durability, this watch uses a sapphire crystal to protect the dial.

Its movement requires no battery, meaning it’s automatic. This solves the issues that others experience with mechanical and quartz movements.

So, if you want a timepiece that can make an impressive statement, then this Bulova watch mode is exactly what you’re searching for. Wear this watch and be in style regardless of where you go.
